Governor Palin,

Your appointment as John McCain's vice presidential running mate has been a source of great enthusiasm among many of us who have been supporting John McCain all along.

The attacks of the left are obviously out of their own fear of what you bring to the McCain-Palin ticket, to the Republican Party and to our country. I know that you will handle these attacks with strength, grace and dignity which is more than they deserve.

Please know that you have the support and admiration of the majority of Americans even though our voices are rarely, if ever, heard through the main stream media outlets.

We look forward to hearing more from you and getting to know you and your beautiful family better.

Thank you for your willingness to serve, even under the hostile conditions the left has subjected you and your family to.

Gov. Palin,

You've got more executive experience than Obama, Biden, or heck even McCain! You faced down the Soviet threat while Governor of the great state of Alaska, which is something no other governor of any state would claim to have done. You single-handedly cleaned out the corruption of your state and made drilling for oil a possibility again.

Now you're going to be a grandma! I am so happy for you and how you raised your children to do the right thing.

Do not listen to the angry left. Face them down like you faced down the Russian missles and migs that you are sworn to protect Alaska from. You will be our next VEEP and our next POTUS after that!

Dear Governor Palin -

My family is excited about your appointment as John McCain's running mate. You are someone many real women can relate to. Although the media's attack on you and your family is dispicable, you must realize that they are desperate and having nothing else to do. You have the liberals scared. They don't know how to handle a conservative successful woman! I will keep you and your family in my prayers - keep strong!

Hi there Gov. Palin

Until you entered this race, I must admit I was basically voting against Obama. Now I can say that I very much support the McCain/Palin ticket.

I appreciate your leadership in Alaska and all you bring as a conservative woman to the national ticket.

I am very sorry that the moonbat leftists are so rabidly attacking your dear family and you. Please know for every attack, there are many many of us who stand with you shoulder to shoulder.

Stand tall Sarah.

Governor Palin,

As you ready yourself to give the speech tonight, please remember this:

As Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain exclaimed when he was out-manned, yet rallied his troops with a text-book maneuver that turned the tide of Gettysburg and saved the battle and quite possibly the Union:

“Stand firm, ye boys from Maine, for not once in a century are men permitted to bear such responsibility for freedom and justice, for God and humanity, as are now placed upon you. “

So stand firm, lady from Alaska, for not once in a century are women permitted to bear such responsibility for freedom and justice, for God and humanity, as are now placed upon you.

God bless you and your family.

God bless the USA!

Governor Palin,

Thank you for accepting the unenviable task of running for public office. Please demonstrate through your campaign conduct that independent women are not a monopoly of one political party. Please fight to prevent the backsliding of woman’s rights to keeping those who are ‘troublesome’ locked out of positions of power.

I thought the suffrage wars were over but apparently, if a woman does not toe the correct political line they must be destroyed.

“How Long Must Women Wait for Liberty." Sadly, not just a 1917 slogan anymore.

Bless you for accepting the challenge before you. As a 52 year old, I've seen my share of elections, but I do not recall anywhere near this level of energy and excitement for the Republican ticket. Ignore the liberal media, and know you have a family of millions here for your support.

I, too, am a 44 year old father of a special needs child. My wife and I applaud your dedication and your efforts.

The attacks from the Left demonstrate precisely how effective you have shown yourself to be, and how frightened they are of your abilities. Sen. McCain would never have selected you if he had any doubt in you.

Stay the course!

Just a few comments for Gov. Palin:

Don't give in

Don't back down

Never surrender

Your honor, character, principles, and faith have made you a woman that millions of men and women in the US, and around the world, will admire. Do not allow yourself to be bullied, by politicos of any stripe, by the campaign staff, by the media, by voters. Your value is in the person you ARE, not who we want you to be.

Trust in God, in your family, and know that you have the prayers and support of one more individual.

God Bless- Katie

I have no doubt that you will weather this storm with the strength and grace you have shown throughout your career. Millions of Americans are behind you, and enthusiastically rooting for you.

Good luck on your speech tonight, (I know you're going to knock it out of the ballpark)and Godspeed.

Governor Palin,
I would like to offer you my sincerest congratulations on your historic nomination. Personally, I have been "talking you up" as the only logical choice for the "Maverick's" VP since June, and am delighted that you will be our party's VP nominee.

I'd also like to offer you encouragement, empathy, and support as you fight the scurrilous assertions of the mainstream media. They have focused on you carefully, and while the public deserves to learn all about you; the media has devoted more time and effort to vetting you than they have in the last year and one-half for Senator Obama. Indeed, I would bet money-BIG MONEY- that there are more reporters in Alaska, feverishly looking for the most trivial anecdote, than there are in Chicago researching Mr. Obama. While no one is surprised at the behavior of the biased mainstream media, they have been particularly crass, cynical, and vile in their invective over your surprise nomination.

You can believe me when I say that I personally will do all I can to refute any of their vile talking points at every opportunity that I have. And, I know that all of us regular folks throughout the nation are with you, and your family, and eschew the scandalous reports of the press.

Governor, you are our nominee; and ALL loyal republicans are excited and support your candidacy. We know that you will remain strong in the face of false assertions and make your case before the American people. And, if you simply show them your down to earth, accomplished, strong, intelligent, and competent side, I am convinced that we will be referring to you as "Madam Vice President" on January 20,2009!

All of our love, prayers, support, and best wishes,
God Speed and Good Luck,
Sincerely,

He chose you, a real person like us, not a fabricated personality that was crafted by a political machine. We see that and roar with approval and gratitude! The people of America has a candidate in this race, Not just the ruling parties, and we are overjoyed!

Ignore the venom and lies - we see them for what they truly are, impotent ramblings of the deranged as they see their carefully crafted web of illusions disintegrate under the bright light of truth.

Don't give an inch, they are quaking in fear.

Proud is not a big enough word for what I feel about Sara Palin as a VP candidate for our party and our nation. I am praying, cheering and supporting her campaign financially. In my 65 years I have never seen the media frenzy we are witnessing... it is like a public stoning... All Americans should be ashamed of this. After what we witnessed the media do to Hillary Clinton... are we going to stand for one more woman to be knocked down by the press. If the press had been honest all along about what they KNEW about John Edwards... Obama would not have been nominated because Edwards support would have gone to her. Now we have a media determined to crucify another woman... they are more interested in smut and sensationalism than the price of gas, the economy or jobs. They stink... Governor Palin,

I have spent most of a week now becoming more and more impressed by the day with John McCain and the brilliance he displayed in his Vice-Presidential selection, exposing the left as vicious fools, isolated by their own mindset and unable to attract anyone except well-fed, well-dressed wussies, yet able to come perilously-close to power. If this is how John McCain will protect our nation from our fellow Americans, it almost makes you feel sorry for the fate he'll inflict on our nation's enemies.

May God be with you for the most difficult two months of your life (and, of course, be with you afterwards). I do not envy the courage and strength you'll have to muster, but everything I know about you indicates you have that courage and strength. Do not falter, and we can almost guarantee McCain/Palin's victory this November.

Even if, by some miracle, the Republican ticket loses, McCain's choice leaves an eminently-qualified young woman to succeed him on a national stage, which will benefit his party, his principles, and his nation in the long-term. As I say, it's brilliant. Governor, *you* are the change we've been waiting for. Because you're awesome.

Governor Sarah Palin, I became aware of you when your name surfaced in a short list of those considered for John McCain's VP nomination in March. Since then I held out hope that you would be the one picked; as a 'C'onservative first and a small 'r' Republican, I was lethargic in support of Senator McCain. There's a lot of ill feelings held by Conservatives toward Senator McCain, and we Conservatives felt left out of this party...again.

All of that changed last week, when you were given the nod. You've singlehandedly energized the Conservative base; those of us who were actually considering a protest vote for Bob Barr or writing in Minnie Mouse or whoever as a protest vote.

So, you have to ride this one out. You represent the future of the party. Please, please stick with us; you're our only HOPE!

Thanks,

The media is setting a trap for you.

Sun Tzu: All warfare is based on deception. When we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Attack him when he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.

You are going into the lion’s den when you start the media interviews next week. Do NOT let your guard down! Remember that scripture about when a fool sets a trap, he falls into his own pit, the trap he sets for others he will fall into himself…that is what needs to happen.

Also wanted to say that shocked and saddened by the egregious attacks on you and your family. Stay strong and classy, but direct and spunky in your rebuttals, whenever you do choose to respond.

I see that you are authentic and smart and courageous. May you never lose the sense of 'who you are' and why you are sacrificing yourself of the battlefield of the American political system. I have the idea that you are doing it to serve our country, even as is your son Track, only it's in a different way.

Thank God you are a woman of Faith! I've contributed to McCain-Palin '08 as much as is monetarily possible due to my station in life, but I want you to know I've made a commitment to special intentions in prayers and am lighting candles regularly for you and John McCain.
